Do You Lose More Hair if You Wash it Less?






No. You do not lose more hair if you wash it less. However you may notice at first a bit more shedding when you do wash. But that does not mean you’re losing more hair.

Most people if anything wash their hair too often which strips the hairs natural oils and can damage the hair, ultimately causing it to thin faster as you age. You also must start using high quality shampoo/conditioner without harsh ingredients.

Many people we see move from daily hair washing to a 2–3 times per week regimen see improved thickness and health to their hair.

Depending on your genetics, daily routine (if you sweat a lot for instance) and your climate you will have to test and work out the best regimen for yourself. But certainly be weary of over washing with harsh products. Let your hair naturally do what it was meant to do as much as possible!
