What is The Secret To Amazing Hair?
Okay, so hair care.
I'm no expert but I'm really devoted to my hair and tries my best to keep 'em at their best.
Dry hair, thin hair, hair fall, frizzy hair, split ends ?
5 problems, 1 solution.
It's coconut oil!
I don't know how to emphasize on this much, but believe me this is the best thing on the planet ever discovered for healthy hair.
Just apply lukewarm coconut oil overnight with some fenugreek powder and rinse it the other day.
Diet
No matter how many hair care products or treatments you go through but the diet stays on top! Because as your body dries you hair dries and falls off.
My trichologist suggested me to have these :
- 2 bowls Daal (as it's the only source of protein for veggies like me)
- Pomegranate
- 2 glasses of Milk
- Spinach
- lots of Water
- Hairwash
- Shampoo is for scalp.
- Conditioner is for your length and tips.
- Hair masks and natural stuff
- Fenugreek, leave it soaked in water overnight and make a paste of it, apply it to your scalp and massage gently, running it through your length, then wash off. It cures hairfall and makes your hair shiny and smooth.
- Melon, make a paste of the melon's pulp and apply it, you'll get extremely silky hair!
- Egg, for all of those whose mom won't restrict 'em for using egg like in my case, egg is a savior, apply the egg paste (both yellow and white part) and then wash off.
- Vaseline and castor oil, make a mixture of two and apply overnight, later rinse off. Cures split ends and promote hair growth.
- Onion, make its juice and massage your scalp and then leave for 30 mins then wash off, promotes hair growth insanely, also cures dandruff.
- Curd, honey, lemon juice, mix them and apply it, get rid of dandruff and get smooth and shiny hair.
- Apple cider vinegar, olive oil, almond oil, banana, etc could also be applied separately or in masks.
- Brush your hair often.
Find the right brush, a neat and clean one, wooden brushes preferred and brush brush brush.
Secret to long hair
Chop, chop, chop, get rid of all those split ends which prevent hair growth and make them look unhealthy. Get trim in every 2–3 months, if possible.
What to avoid ?
Avoid heat as much as possible which includes straightening, blow drying, curling, etc. Like 3–4 times in a month is okay, for that matter.
Also, never ever forget to use serum/aloe vera gel before heating up.
